What can I expect to find?
Penn’s Little Village has an entire mini town for kids to play inside. I like how you have to walk under a covered bridge that says Welcome to Langhorne to enter this section. This is a nice way to pay a tribute to all of the covered bridges within Bucks County.
There are different buildings that each have different things to offer. There are mailboxes with mail at each place in the village. The fire station has a fire hose that can be unrolled. There is a library with books and bookshelves, a school with educational things inside, a grocery store with food that can be sold, a trailer with a small kitchen and a car mechanic shop with wheels you can take on and off the cars.

Our Experience
My kids love this library. Even though it is a bit of a drive for us it is definitely worth it. The kids always make a beeline for Penn’s Little Village first. My son always enjoys working on the car in the shop the most. My daughter likes to sell things in the grocery store or play inside of the trailer. After that they enjoy playing with many of the other toys that are out. Their favorite are the magnetic tiles.
We often go in the morning so we head into the storytime while we are there. The kids like to pack snacks and lunch. We go outside to eat in front of the library whenever we get hungry. This library is always a great place to visit. Be sure to check it out yourself!
What other things are there to do nearby?
Sesame Place is in Langhorne. This is a great place to visit with younger kids. If they have difficulty waiting in lines for rides there are still plenty of funny shows with characters, parades and character meet and greets that they can enjoy. In the summer the water park is also open and part of the activities you can do there as well.
Peddler’s Village is also only a half hour away. Here are the things we like to do there: Peddler’s Village.
