One of the latest trends is my new favorite daytime activity. Coffee flights! Find out the best ones that I have tried in South Jersey so far. I will be adding more as I visit them.

How to get a coffee flight
Reserve a coffee flight online here before you visit.
There are 30 minute flight time slots available for 1 to 3 people. There are also 1 hour time slots available for 4 to 6 people.
The Flight
One option is to pick four options from their menu for your flight. Another option is picking their specialty flights. These are special flavors that are only offered for different seasons or holidays. With each flight you also get to pick one baked good to eat with your flight.
Price: $15 pp for a common flight and $22 pp for a specialty flight
Currently they have holiday flights available until January 5th, 2025. Customers can choose four different options. Options include a tiramisu iced latte, oatnog iced “cortado”, peppermint mocha cold brew, snickerdoodle iced cubano, pizelle iced chai, gingerbread cookie cold brew, sugar cookie cold brew, oatmeal cookie iced latte and salted butterscotch iced latte. Flights are served with either a sugar cookie or an oatmeal cranberry cookie.
My Experience
I went here with a friend on a weekday. This was a fun way to try different flavors of coffee. I picked two flavors I had before and two that sounded more unique. The name of each flavor was written in front of each glass. I ended up liking the caramel over-load the most. The cruffin I had was delicious as well.
The coffee shop is located in the downtown area of Oaklyn. I liked the exposed brick wall and the cozy atmosphere. Parking was easy in a lot that was a little further down the street.

How to get a coffee flight
Currently the next flights they are offering here will be on December 19th for their Holiday Event. A reservation must be made ahead of time. More details are below under Upcoming Events.
The Flight
I was able to choose three different coffee options for my flight and there was also a fourth glass that contained water. This was a good palate cleanser between coffee drinks.
Price: At their event on December 19th, 2024 the flights will be $25 and include pastries as well.
My Experience
I visited this fun European espresso bar with my family. The kids liked the bicycle bar inside the shop and the different seating options. Our favorite drink ended up being the iced urban shakerato. We have been back since then to get this drink. It is great with regular milk or with oat milk.
The shop is located in the downtown area of Haddon Township. It is a great location close to other shops and restaurants. Their spanakopita was recently voted the Best Spanakopita in South Jersey. I look forward to trying it the next time we visit.
Upcoming Events
They are having a Holiday Coffee and Flight Night on December 19th, 2024. It is from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm and reservations can be made here: Reserve a Spot. The flights for this event will be Gingerbread Cold Foam Chai, Brown Sugar Cookie Latte, Peppermint Dark Chocolate Mocha and Marshmallow Hazelnut Cocoa. The flight pastries will be Maritozzo, Vanilla Bougatsa and Greek Yogurt Cherry Turnover.
Other Places Nearby
We visited this coffee shop after my son had done a birthday party at Hammer & Stain nearby. I was impressed by how the location was able to have a birthday party full of five year olds create some beautiful painted wooden name signs. Some other interesting places nearby are Sattler’s HO Trains & Hobbies store which has a large selection of HO and N scale trains. There is also Phidelity Records. They have a large selection of records that are great for adding to your collection.

Update: Unfortunately this location will be closing on December 28th. Currently their reservations are all booked for their coffee, tea and hot cocoa flights. They are still offering takeout for their specialty coffee, hot cocoa and baked goods.
The Cookie Basket will still have its NJ Cottage Permit and be baking personal Cookie/Dessert orders, hosting tea parties at different venues, having special events and more. Follow their Facebook page to see what they will be offering next.

The Flight
Each flight came with three large 10 oz iced coffee drinks. The flight options are selected already. Each coffee drink also comes with a mini dessert as well.
Other options they offer are hot coffee flights, hot tea flights and hot chocolate flights.
They serve Given’s coffee. Half of the profits from these bags of coffee go to support saving children’s lives. The coffee is also available for purchase here.

My Experience
This was a fun afternoon date with my husband. The inside of this bakery and coffee shop are reminiscent of being in France with its decor and seating. We loved the flowers painted on the wall and the prime location in downtown Haddonfield. Street parking was easy and it is currently free for the month of December.
We were both impressed by the large size of the coffee flights as well as the festive toppings. My favorite one ended up being the Boo Berry. Each dessert pairing was tasty and thoughtfully selected. We enjoyed Jill’s desserts so we also purchased some baked goods to take home.
Jill and Denise are a great team. They also offer special events such as tea parties. Hot chocolate flights are also available here.
Upcoming Events
They have an upcoming Holiday Tea event on December 20th at noon. Call to make a reservation fast since there are only four seats still available. It is $34.99 per person for scones, petite desserts and tea sandwiches. There is also unlimited tea, coffee and lemonade.

This location is near Indian King Tavern. It is always having fun history-related events that our family enjoys. It is also not far from the King’s Road Brewing Company.
